Sherree DeCovny is a unique strategic communications resource offering a mix of marketing, investor relations and journalism expertise along with in-depth knowledge of finance and technology. She has extensive experience developing and managing external and internal marketing communications projects for top international firms. These projects involved the production of a range of materials such as white papers, advertising supplements, brochures, by-lined articles, newsletters, magazines, press releases, web site copy, blogs, speeches and presentations.
Prior to starting a career in communications, Sherree worked for several years in the City of London dealing in futures, options, treasury bonds, foreign exchange and interest rate swaps. She has a deep understanding of the global capital markets and the ability to write from various perspectives. Early in her career, she held various positions in physical commodity operations, which allowed her to gain hands-on trade finance experience.
Sherree holds an MBA from Henley Management College in the U.K., a BA in History from American University in Washington D.C., and she passed the Series 3 exam. She is a member of the Women's Bond Club and the New York Financial Writers Association and is approved as a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.
